Clip Choices for Ordering Hair Bows

We offer clip choices on most of our hair bows. Our infant bows are always made with the alligator (pinch) clip. Most other bows have the option when ordering them to choose between an alligator (pinch) clip or a french (snap) barrette. It is our experience that an alligator clip works best in someone with shorter or more fine hair, while the french barrette works well in someone with long or thick hair. We also line our alligator clips with the coordinating ribbon and we line the top of our french snap barrette with coordinating ribbon. The lining of the alligator clip also helps give the clip extra holding power in someone with fine hair, especially the velvet bows. We have plastic clips available if you need a metal-free bow, and your bow can be made on a metal-free pony-0 (ponytail holder).
